Ten illustrations created for Yahoo! newsletters spanning lifestyle, food, motoring, finance and sports. Bold shapes, vivid color and tactile textures give each subject its own character while keeping the collection connected.
My role: concept sketches and final illustrations. Created in 2022.
The process
Before the color.
Early sketches explore alternative ways to communicate each newsletter topic, from everyday objects to visual metaphors. The finished series develops those ideas through color, composition and texture.
